It is beyond my comprehension to understand how anyone could vote for a man with Platner's background. What has happened to the concept of shame? What has happened to common sense in this country? You are so right to emphasize the despicable endorsements so many Democratic pols are piling on him. Without a doubt, if Platner were running as a Republican he would be excoriated for his innumerable flaws by those endorsing him so enthusiastically. I would even speculate that some prominent Republican pols would distance themselves from him.
At what point do we reach our breaking point and collectively-as patriotic Americans-say that partisanship that favors party over substance is just too toxic for the good of our country?
