If you agree that VP Vance would not make a good successor to President Trump, though he is likely to be the Republican Party's pick, then repost this and share it everywhere you can. People who care need to understand that we need to be working on selecting President Trump's successor when his term ends.

I understand your concern about words and the omission of some words. I would like to mention that the current mayor of New York City says nice things about Jews when he has to. He is the kind of person I would not turn my back on. I could give you a whole lecture on this kind of subject but I'll give you the summary. Watch people's actions not their words. It's easy to say good or bad words. It's much harder to do good actions. You also need to understand that the MAGA MOVEMENT is still so centered on President Trump. A movement that only has one person as its Center is limited in time. We need to bring together as large a tent as possible. The other side, sometimes known as Democratic socialists sometimes as terrorist sympathizers or the terrorists themselves is like a dysfunctional beehive. All the drones and UIs do as they are told.

As I’ve been writing for months now, JD Vance has turned on the Jewish people subtly but surely, choosing ambition and false loyalty to his friend Carlson over moral certitude. The question going forward is who the Jewish electorate and donor class will begin to throw their support around as 2028 closes in. My own inclination is Ted Cruz followed by Marco Rubio whom I believe will be politically hamstrung by an endorsement of Vance by DJT. If that is not forthcoming then It’ll be a dogfight with no clear front runner. I wouldn’t count out Nikki Haley and especially Ron DeSantis making a comeback having learned from 2024.

He sounded just like the UN’s statement for Holocaust Remembrance Day. They didn’t mention Jews, either. It’s the “horseshoe effect”.

Your column was excellent. J.D. Vance purposely worded his statement with the omission of Jews and Nazis. Very obvious. Why is the big question. Many Jews supported Zoran despite his antisemitic views so I can see them supporting Vance too. He won't get my vote! There is something shady about him.

One would think that after the Fuentes-Carlson-Roberts-Heritage fiasco and push back against an open tent that welcomes in extremism, a savvy Vance would know to both speak and act better. Then again, when Vance didn't call out the guy in the crowd who insulted Vance's wife and children, you begin to wonder what makes him tick. I welcome any thoughts on why he takes or doesn't take a position. So far, he seems more a smarmy popularity seeker than anything like a truth-seeking statesman

Very troubling for 28

Regrettably, so far, the comments confirm your story. What is Vance thinking, or not?

Words matter but I agree with Prof Rich on the importance of actions. I will observe Vance closely because I have doubts about him. There are other people who I personally prefer.
