The Danger of Zohran Mamdani
Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Socialist mayor of New York City, is cunning, manipulative and smart. He is also a liar.
If you need proof, just look at what he did this past week.
First, in a featured interview with the New York Times, Mamdani said he was in “active conversation” with the city’s law department to see if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could be arrested when he comes to New York in September for the UN General Assembly.
Mamdani knew before he sat down with the Times that his legal department had already told him he had no right to arrest Netanyahu. But he also knew the interview with the Times would put him in position to begin several days of delegitimizing Israel.
That Times interview was merely the opening act in his calculating and purposeful demonizing of Israel and its leadership.
Act two came just a few days later when he was asked once again about the possibility of arresting Netanyahu. And once again, Mamdani said he was discussing it with the city’s lawyers.
Yes, another lie, but keep the fiction alive, keep the media on the edge of their seats, waiting for the big reveal.
On Tuesday, Mamdani did it. He admitted, in a social media speech, that in fact, he had no legal authority to take Bibi into custody. All those promises he made during the mayoral campaign that motivated his Israel-hating base, were total b.s..
That speech lasted all of two minutes, but the cunning mayor didn’t deliver the punchline, that arresting Netanyahu was illegal, impossible, until there was only twenty seconds left. The lead-up to his admission was replete with a litany of lies about the war in Gaza, with no mention of how the war started, no mention of the horrors of October 7th. In Mamdani’s own words, the worst person in the world is Benjamin Netanyahu, the war criminal extraordinaire, guilty of genocide, mass starvation and infanticide.
His speech not only demonized Israel, but by extension anyone who supports Israel.
It was truly disgusting, but it was also cunning and here’s why.
The speech was tailored for social media and if you were scrolling through your social feed and hit upon his speech, you probably would never have hung in long enough to hear how his big promise was a big lie. All you would have heard was his trash-talk about the evils of Israel and of its leader.
And that was his goal.
From the moment the New York Times gave him that international platform, Zohran Mamdani knew exactly what he was doing and to whom he was going to preach.
But we shouldn’t be at all surprised. He’s been telling us for a long time how he was going to dismantle American support for Israel.
Two weeks before Hamas invaded Israel on October 7th, Mamdani made clear what he wanted to do, what he said needed to be done.
“The support for the Israeli government,” Mamdani declared, “is something that is developed from the first moment that someone even thinks about politics in this country. We have to combat it at the same level.”
In other words, if you break the decades-long bond between Israel and the United States, it will lead to the destruction of the Jewish state.
That’s exactly what Zohran Mamdani was doing, in full force, this past week.
As Mayor of the City of New York, Zohran Mamdani has a very, very powerful pulpit from which he can spew the gospel of his pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel, anti-Jewish sermons. He has the ear of the world’s media and he is clearly, actively manipulating it to do what he told us he is destined to do; to decouple Israel from America.
Sadly, what we are seeing, is that his message is resonating not only with a growing portion of the population, but with a growing faction within the Democrat Party.
As I said at the beginning, Mamdani is a liar, but he is cunning, manipulative and smart. However, I left out one thing, that came into full view this past week; Zohran Mamdani is dangerous.

Mamdani has known what he's doing all along and the video was effectively staged.
A hearty middle finger to all you Members of the Tribe who voted for him. You’re an embarrassment to our religion/Israel and to our ancestors who suffered through the pogroms and Holocaust and expulsions and current threats/harassments.
