Excellent article. I was thinking the same thing when Bloomberg was with King Charles at the 911 memorial. And I agree with Mr. Griffin that our Mayor has put a target on his and his family's back. Kathy Hochul caved in to get reelected. Our Mayor has an agenda and it's not in the best interest of our city and its residents. Woe is us.
No NYC mayor has ever been impeached. A few resigned under scandal, or the threat thereof. One mechanism on the books, but never exercised, is by a decree from the NY Governor. Given the political environment, it is not likely to happen. Yet if Mamdani continues to destroy NYC, and Bruce Blakeman dethrones Hochul, we can hope
I lived in the city twice in my life. Once when I was single and sharing an apartment with freinds and once when all my kids were out of the house. When I had children and needed more space I couldnt afford to live there, so I moved to the suburbs. We should stop expecting and demanding that NYC be more affordable. It has been a place for the wealthy to live for as long as I can remember. The suburbs are where you go for affordable housing. Let the market dictate the prices in the city.
Yeah, what you said. I couldn't agree more. Just how Mamdani was elected in the first place is beyond me. I'm predicting New York will have to hit rock bottom before we see a turnaround. Extremely sad.
If you were our worst enemy, where would you attack the USA to get the most bang from you buck?
NYC.
They did chant
"DEATH TO AMERICA."
You get what you voted for. Just like Seattle, Portland, San Fransisco, Los Angeles et al.
